Artist in Residence and Art Teacher - Pam Smallshaw

Before taking over the Art School at Frachis Pam was a successful artist on the Isle of Man

She is a well travelled artist with time spent on artistic pursuits on the west coast of Ireland, Italy and France

She paints in an abstract/impressionistic style - usually in oil.

  Pam is able to offer tuition in oil painting and painting en plein air

Tracy was born in Cyprus in 1971 and grew up in Lancashire.

She studied ceramics and fine art before going on to The Arts University college at Bournemouth.

 She graduated as a Bachelor of Art with Honours. 

In 1999 Tracy was awarded a High Commendation and a cash prize from The Royal Society of Art for her 'Landscape' entry into the RSA Student Awards - a prestigious national competition.

After graduating Tracy trained to become a teacher of art and design obtaining her Qualified Teacher Status and working in Secondary schools around England.

Tracy is now teaching at L'ecole d' art in Frachis, St Junien Les Combes with fellow artist from the Isle of Man, Pam Smallshaw.
